Carrefour took a step back and looked at the market and its audience with a realness filter. The truth out there is simple these days, people are done with being charmed by romantic commercials and alluring advertising. They want small prices. Period. This is what gets them to pick you as a shopping point. so that is what Carrefour and us gave them: realness.

The idea

Carrefour recreated musical romantic satires in each communication material in order to underline his main message:

they have the lowest prices and that’s enough.

MAIN TVC

This is the TVC that first went ON AIR explaining the plot of our entire campaign.

The musical TVCs

We created a series of songs, of different genres, portraying different ways that our competitors try to conquer our audience. We even partner up with one of the most well known singers in Romania, Corina Chiriac, to do her take on a classical song. However, at the end of every TVC, the customer speaks the truth, Carrefour’s truth: they only want small prices.
